BizTech Institute Admission Requirements:

Every prospective BizTech Institute student has to pass an initial assessment exam in order to register for any of our Diploma and Certificate programs. BizTech Institute utilizes the WBST (Wonderlic Basic Skills Test) in order to give us a thorough assessment and understanding of your basic verbal skills. This test is used to help our professional facilitators grade your basic communication skill level. It may also assist us in guiding you towards an appropriate and rewarding career and your future employment path. A BizTech Institute Career Training Counselor will work with you to determine the right program best suited to your interests, skill levels, subject knowledge and career goals. Admission Requirements:

• You must have an Ontario High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• You must be at least 18 years of age, or at the appropriate age specified in your intended program for approval
• You must successfully complete the BizTech Institute Assessment exam and obtain a minimum passing grade
• If any prerequisite for your intended program of choice need to be provided, all materials need to be forwarded to your Career Training Counselor of record before the commencement of your first class at BizTech Institute

Biztech Institute suggests each inquiring student wishing to gain acceptance to our private career college follow these steps in order to help ensure a successful enrolment:

Enrolment Procedures:

• Call the Campus and speak with a Career Training Counselor to arrange a personal meeting and conduct a personal tour of the college campus
• Keep your appointment and show up on time, and be ready for your Campus visit and Career Counseling session
• Make your appointment to write the Biztech Institute Assessment Examination
• Complete your Admissions Registration requirements for entrance into the private career college (you can accomplish this online right at our website)
• If you require Financial Aid to attend our college in Ontario, make sure you are applying for every available avenue of assistance prior to completing your Registration

Your Enrolment Procedure Checklist:

1. Arrange a Meeting

• Call BizTech Institute Student Career Service to arrange an interview with a BizTech Institute Training Career Counselor
• Fill out the online Inquiry Form to have one of our Training Counselors contact you.

2. BizTech Institute Campus Visit/ Counseling Session

It is our pleasure to welcome you to our career college campus! We encourage you to take the time to meet with a Career Counselor - but don't be shy about extending a friendly greeting to an instructor or fellow student, as well. Becoming familiar and comfortable with the BizTech Institute campus will assist in making the best career choice for you. We are prepared to answer all of your questions and concerns. Our exceptional, professional staff will be pleased to offer their expert advice and suggestions to help guide you along your career path. At BizTech Institute, you can form the shape of your own future and still get some valuable insight and guidance along the way! When you come to visit us in person, please make sure you bring the most up-to-date copy of your professional resume (C.V., Curriculum Vitae, etc.), any related work history documents and any previous academic transcripts or certifications. If you are not certain which areas of study you'd like to pursue while in attendance at our college, one of our Career Counselors will be glad to offer their guidance and advice (based on your own questions, interests and familiarity with current technological trends).

3. BizTech Institute Entrance Exam / Assessment Exam

All career college applicants must complete the BizTech Institute Assessment Exam prior to final Registration for any of the Institute's programs. This Assessment Exam will assist us in recommending which of our programs you are most likely to be successful in - and therefore which career path you are most likely to be happy working in, upon graduation. The Assessment Exam process will take approximately 30 minutes of your time, and is designed to provide our college professionals with an intuitive profile of your relevant experience in your chosen field of study. It will also give us a good understanding of your abilities to apply logical thinking to problem-solving situations. This test will give us a bit more information about how best to guide you along your career path, based on your current subject and academic knowledge, your desired career path and (of course!) your own long-term goal interests.

BizTech Institute has provided you with an easy to fill out Request for Information Form . If you wish to be considered immediately for one of our commencing classes in any of our programs, one of our Career Counselors will review your application and contact you immediately. Financial Aid:

Students enrolled in our Full Diploma programs may be eligible (if they qualify) for assistance under one or more of the following Financial Assistance Programs:

• E.I, H.R.S.D.C (Human Resources Skill Development Canada) Second Career Program
• WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board)
• Immigrant Student Loan Program

How to Apply - International Prospective Students:

Step 1

• BizTech Institute has several approved representatives (International BizTech Institute Career Counselors) in various countries. While students may at some periods in time have access to paper application forms and brochures and other informative materials from our private career college, the surest and quickest way to begin the approval process is to fill out the Application for Admission Form or the Request for Information Form online. Please note: you will be required to demonstrate a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the English language (spoken and written).
• If you are submitting your Application for Admission Form to one of our International BizTech Institute Career Counselors, students should be prepared to submit their application along with all required documents to the representative. Please note: All documents must be submitted to the representative in original issuance, or photocopied facsimile, format. Original documents will be returned immediately to you upon instant review by the BizTech Institute representative. Photocopied materials may not be returned. Non-English documentation must be accompanied by an authorized and notarized English language translation.

Step 2

• Your International BizTech Institute Career Counselor will forward the completed paperwork to the BizTech Institute Canada Head Office, located at Suite 205, 5170 Dixie Road in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Based on the documentation provided and any additional paperwork forwarded to the Head Office, a student intake officer will review the application.
• If the student has met the prerequisites for admission to the program of their choice at the Institute, BizTech Institute will send an email confirming the acceptance of the application immediate to the prospective student. All arrangements regarding a review of the proper travel and immigration documentation, as well as tuition and fee payment information to the private career college, will be made available to the student at that time in this email correspondence.
• The acceptance of this email shall be viewed as a Confirmation of acceptance for enrolment at BizTech Institute should the prospective student wish to further pursue studies at the Institute.

Step 3

• BizTech Institute will issue the Letter of Acceptance which will contain the following information:

1. A Student ID number
2. Receipt for Initial Enrolment Fees and Tuition
3. Acknowledgement of Confirmation to the prerequisites of admission
4. Schedule of Courses
5. Greater Toronto Area Lodging and Boarding Information for International Students
6. Information and details about the First Day Orientation Session (mandatory)

• Full payment of all Fees and Tuition must be made no later than the same day of the student's scheduled Orientation Session (held within one week of the student's arrival into Canada). In the event that the Government of Canada may decline a Student VISA, any Fees and Tuition paid will be immediately refunded to the prospective student.* We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application to study and develop your future at BizTech Institute.
