Career Counseling:
BizTech Institute Career Counselors assist our graduates in selecting the right career path. Our counselors will look at your existing job skills and educational background and guide you towards the right program that best suits your interest level, current expertise and skill set. We are dedicated to finding the right job for you after you complete your training!
We take into consideration that each BizTech Institute student has a unique work history and education background. Our focus on individual, personal training and counseling helps students achieve their personal career goals when entering any Business, Health Care or Information Technology related job market.
Support services are also offered to our graduates upon successful completion of each program. We carefully analyze our instructors, classrooms and even the Registration process by encouraging student feedback (and students "rankings") at end of each program. The BizTech Institute team is dedicated to the success of your career training and to your commitment and desire to acquire vital new job skills. Whether you're on a new career path or upgrading your skills towards a better future within your current career, our career guidance program (job search techniques, resume writing, interview workshops, job placement programs, etc.) is one of the unique advantages that separates BizTech Institute from other career colleges or training schools.
Job Placement:
Our job placement program is helpful to those who are actively looking for employment. Our program is also beneficial to those who are new to our country. There are many extremely talented and qualified people within our community (that may have an excellent educational background or exceptional job-related skills), but who have yet to land gainful employment in Canada. Even then, many of these skilled professionals may not be employed in the vocation of their choice. For new Canadians especially, however, temporary work assignments can be an ideal method of gaining valuable workplace experience - and BizTech Institute can provide assistance for our graduates in securing positions.
BizTech Institute has recently established a Co-op Program which will provide recent graduates from BizTech Institute an opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience with potential new long-term employers. The Co-op Program can run anywhere from 1 to 3 months and is a paid "practicum" opportunity. This Co-op Program gives our graduates a wealth of knowledge and even more importantly, first hand experience in the latest technologies, tools, products and equipment of their particular field of study. Our Co-op students work side by side with numerous experienced professionals in actual project situations and assignments for clients. We are also unique as a business school (and a training centre) in that we give our students valuable exposure to our group of aligned and affiliated companies in which to work on in-house projects.
Job Search Workshops:
BizTech Institute regularly arranges Job Search workshops at out Mississauga location. Such workshops are usually motivational in nature and are free for all BizTech Institute graduates.
Workshops provide current market information and introduce creative and innovative job search techniques. Job search workshops are extreme helpful to those who are looking for work, or are new to Canada. These workshops are offered to BizTech Institute graduates only.
